Network World Fusion 05/02/03

Major League Baseball is offering a free trial of its live streaming video game coverage this weekend (through May 4). The service, which normally costs $14.95 per month, shows all "out-of-market" games, meaning if you're in the Boston area you won't get to watch the Red Sox live over the Internet. Interesting that they're launching a free trial a month in to the season. Makes me wonder if the subscriber numbers are lower than expected.
