Apex Digital launches 8.4-inch portable DVD player

Apex-Digital-PD840-sm.jpgApex Digital this week added a new portable DVD player to its line with the addition of the PD-840, featuring an 8.4-inch viewable display.

The PD-840 will cost about $325 and will be available later this summer, the company announced. The PD-840 has the ability to play multi-format DVD and CDs, including CD-R/RW and DVD+/-R/RW formatted disks. Other players include the 7.1-inch PD-1710 ($199), the 6.6-inch PD-660 ($190) and the 5-inch PD-500 ($150). For more details, go to the Apex Digital Web site.

I have an Apex 6.5 inch portable and it rocks! It's got a nice picture and super-long battery life. This new 8.4 inch will be sweet.
