Research in Motion (RIM) today announced plans to have BlackBerry connectivity on Samsung wireless handheld devices. Through a licensing program, Samsung will enable its devices to be able to connect to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. In addition, the companies will work on enabling the handhelds to connect to the BlackBerry Web Client for individuals and smaller businesses that don't use the Enterprise Server.

Plans on the types of devices Samsung plans, or when the connectivity will occur, were not announced.
