i hope you are a millionaire or just a poor writer having a sill
you just make a bottom on NT, thanks so much, now i know i can buy NT here....lol
Wow - spreading this manure is a major disappointment!
Jim - you must be lacking of of significant content to report this tripe. It's just existing news plus the writer's fantasy and lack of real knowledge, written in a manner to appear to be a prediction.
In addition - some content is just plain nonsense and lacking any real insight yet written to appear as though a great deal of thought is the foundation.
For example:
"Kedrosky says projects like 3G buildouts in China are financed by debt and will stall due to unavailable credit."
China is like very few other countries in the world. The government holds over $1 trillion US dollars (real value somewhat questionable) in its foreign currency reserves. These funds have been earning a zero (negative once factoring in the collapsing value of the US dollar) return (although China has taken steps to convert into income earning asssets and will continue the process), and China would (and should) think nothing of using these funds to finance this project if it is of significant benefit to the economic progress of China.
This is part of what is going wrong in the markets these days - too much crap being written by people who don't know much about anything - and then reported on by suuposedly reputable newspapers thereby lending undeserved credibility and fuelling the hysteria. Do everyone a favour and stop giving this crap undeserved attention.
Forgot Something
Not that I don't expect them to be acquired - I do. At this price, for a business that does roughly 11 billion a year in sales - why not buy it? Particularly if you can pay with paper (your own stock).
Wow - this is news? reporting on a bloggers opinion?
Well at least you got some hits on the site. Very poor reporting. Dissappointing to see.
Nortel
And Buffett and his team were heard to be at Nortel? I'm sure he'll buy it, he has 4 Billion dollars to spare...and that would be a bargain
Total rubbish - pull this headline
what non-sense to report on this! What's next? Jim, my neighbor, said that NT will be sold tomorrow. Headline: Nortel will be sold tomorrow. Come on!!!
I can't believe this even showed up on Google as a news item!!
"Nortel declined to comment."
I think this is liberally paraphrased... Nortel probably said, "What, you expect me to comment on what some guy said on his blog, what are you, a moron??"
Re Nortel doesn't make it out alive
Are you a-holes trying to be the Fox news of Telecom?, I have to agree with the other bloggers, some numbnuts post his opinion on a blog site and you run with it. You guys are part of the problem try being part of the solution. Spreading rumors, panic and fear is irresponsbile. As for the blogger in question, remember opinions are like a-holes everyone has one, some are just bigger than others...
NetworkWorld loses credibility, shuts doors.
Employees were stunned today when NetworkWorld suddenly shut off the lights and locked its doors. Due to a severe drop in credibility, advertisers pulled their accounts, leaving NetworkWorld in a scramble for funding - which it could not secure.
Well, that's my opinion on what tomorrow's headline will be, anyway...
Friday and another bone head with nothing worthy to write about.
Must be a slow day in NW. Feeling the heat to crank out an article so you find some piece of trash from the garbage can of some blogger???
If you wrote this to get a reaction then you got one and its a bad one. Its like stock trading programs that look for Chapter 11 and so on in news feeds. What could have been a speed bump becomes a 20 foot deep pot hole due to misinformed individuals passing on crap as fact.
You've wasted the time of thousands of readers. Shame on you. Maybe canncelled subscriptions might cause management to require some truth before an article gets printed. Time to set up an email filter that trashes all emails with your name in it.
