Happy To See NAT

0

I for one am happy to see NAT coming to IPv6. Lack of NAT is a big drawback to IPv6 for many people. A majority of users have internet connections with only one IP address net run multiple pieces of equipment. This is all thanks to a NAT router.

Now what do you do if your ISP is stingy with the IPv6 addresses and refuses to give you more than one? Do you junk your other equipment. Or, what if your ISP will let you have additional addresses BUT at an extra cost per IP address per month? At least with NAT, I can take charge of my own computing environment and I do not need permission of my ISP to run several computers and other IP based devices in my home.
